By making full use of the local computer's processing power while employing XML web services to communicate with the Projectized Pipeline Server, the Smart Client is the best of both worlds; the rich user experience of a windows client combined with the flexibility and reach of the web.

The Projectized Pipeline Smart Client is deployed and updated from the Projectized Pipeline Server, making the solution a low maintenance alternative to the traditional web client. Furthermore, the Smart Client works offline as well, and synchronizes whenever a connection to the server becomes available - making the experience completely transparent to the user.
